A quick observation on Court practice.  From a recent case I was on, though I&#8217;ve thought of this before (and forgotten to note it).

<p>A quick observation on Court practice.  From a recent case I was on, though I&#8217;ve thought of this before (and forgotten to note it).  </p>
<p>The Judge often had 3 or 4 bundles open on his desk at one time, and was frequently being referred by Counsel to one, then another, then another, then back to the first and so forth.  </p>
<p>Stick a label in the top LH corner of the bundle so that, even when papers are turned over to that side, the Judge can see at a glance which file he&#8217;s looking at.  Repeat as necessary for self, Counsel, witnesses etc.  Job done.</p>
<p><em>Sorry, for the poor pic quality&#8211;it&#8217;s a compound of my rubbish drawing skills, a Post-It note and a cellphone camera.  Nothing but the highest of high-tech on Re Risk!</em><br />
